Glued to the TV and magazine clean out

No, not watching replays of the tennis - watching the news to see if our house in Bundaberg will go under with the floods.  So far it looks safe - hopefully it stays that way.

After seeing a post by Jenny of Elefantz about her new craft room I really need to go thru all of my craft magazines and dispose of those I no longer wish to keep.  I usually fold over page corners to 'tag' projects I think I want to do one day.  I think I need to go thru them all again and see if I still want to do those projects.  What with the amount on my 'Things to finish' list and on my 'Projects to start' list maybe I should just turf out every magazine that is not associated to a current/waiting project - even without going thru them.

I'm sure hubby would like that!!

For Sale

You may notice that I have set up another page to my blog called 'For Sale'.

Here I will be listing items that I am trying to sell.  The items will range from table runners and quilts to cloth dolls and bears to painted folksy items too.  Even some crochet will be on there.

If you see something on that page that you wish to purchase just send me an email and we will sort it out.

Prim Dolls and craft

I have just added to my sidebar a link to Lillie Mae's website.  She has all kinds of Prim doll patterns as well as other prim craft patterns.

All for FREE.

How generous is that?

I particularily like the Ella Mae bear

and the Simply Sarah doll.

Happy New Year

Been on holidays for 2 weeks now and have I been busy.  No  pics to show but I'll tell you what I have managed to get done.

10 crocheted wash cloths,
finished the applique on Jess's quilt,
cut out and then put together a small hexagon wall hanging,
put together 35 diamonds to make a start on a tumbling block small wall hanging.

Now I am back to my Van Gogh cross stitch.

With the weather being so extreme here I have been swimming (or rather standing) in the pool at the caravan park.  One day I counted 61 people - kids and adults - in it.  It was clearly standing room only.  Today (wednesday Jan 9) is quite cool.  There will be no need to have the fan on when I go to sleep tonight.  I may even start off with the doona over me.
